Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Swatches

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

When Becca and Jaclyn Hill announced that they were releasing an entire collection based around her famous limited edition Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector they practically broke the internet. Everyone went nuts! I’m not gonna lie. I got a little excited myself because Champagne Glow is beautiful and Becca really knows how to whip up a perfect cheek palette. However, I kept telling myself that I didn’t need it because I’ve been buying a ton of highlighters lately and I already own the Champagne Glow Palette and Afterglow Palette from Becca’s holiday collection. But you know me. The more pictures and swatches I seen of the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette pushed me to want it more and more. It’s just looked so beautiful!

So when Sephora recently restocked the Champagne Collection Face Palette I just went ahead and ordered it because I didn’t want to miss out on this limited edition beauty. Turns out, I made the best decision ever. The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette is hands down the most beautiful palette I’ve ever seen. Becca and Jaclyn Hill really went out all! The Champagne Collection Face Palette is much larger and a bit bulkier than the Champagne Glow and Afterglow Palettes but the packaging looks much better. It looks very chic and feels very luxe. Plus there’s a little extra space between the pans this time around so I don’t have to worry about fall out flying into all of the other pans too much. I’m really digging the packaging! Again, it’s a little bigger than most face palettes but it does come with a nice sized mirror so it’s still pretty convenient for travel.

Now on to the good stuff! The Champagne Collection Face Palette features two highlighters and 3 blushes including:

  • Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed soft white gold with pinky peach undertones
  • Prosecco Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed medium warm gold
  • Rosé Spritz Luminous Blush soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer
  • Amaretto Mineral Blush matte toasted almond
  • Pamplemousse Mineral Blush matte warm coral pink

Besides the fact that I’ve been going highlighter crazy, I kept pushing off ordering the Champagne Collection Face Palette because I wasn’t too sure how the blushes would look on brown skin. Of course, I’ve seen a few swatches but none of them made me feel like I needed this palette in my life. It wasn’t until my good makeup pal Jessica posted a video swatch on Snapchat something clicked in my head. Becca’s palettes never look all that hot in swatches but end up blowing you away when you see them in person.

And that’s exactly the case with the Champagne Collection Face Palette! On brown skin, the swatches just look meh but I can happily reassure you that it brings all the wow factor you can possibly handle once you get your hands on it. From the moment I swatched everything I knew this palette was going to be in heavy rotation all summer long. I already have a pan of Champagne Pop in my Champagne Glow Palette so I already knew it was beautiful. However, the rest of the shades completely blew me away. Prosecco Pop is everything everyone has said about it and more! It’s a stunning warm gold highlighter that looks amazing on brown skin and has that signature Becca glow that looks amazing. I was worried the blushes wouldn’t work for me at all but to my surprise they’re all gorgeous and look great on brown skin. Rosé Spritz looks like it’s going to be my favorite of the bunch as it’s super pigmentation and has such a pretty strong gold sheen that just shines and shines. I can’t wait to see how lovely it’s going to look layered with Prosecco Pop. I’m also a fan of Amaretto and Pamplemousse. Amaretto looked like it was going to be too pale and wash me out in swatches but in person it seems to be a wonderful everyday nude blush with just a touch of shimmer to give it soft satin finish. Pamplemousse also has a soft shimmer to it so it doesn’t look flat or chalky either. Instead, Pamplemousse appears to be a great summer blush for me as it adds such a nice pop of color without looking overdone or overpowering. In true Becca fashion, both the highlighters and blushes are all velvety smooth and seem to blend quite easily. If you’ve been hesitating to try out the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette (like I was) I totally recommend heading your butt over to Sephora to place your order or pick it up in stores before it’s gone for good!
