ColourPop So Wavy Ultra Satin Lipstick Review
When it comes to liquid lipsticks ColourPop has it all. From basic nudes to crazy colors like green and grey, you can find it all at ColourPop–no problem. That’s what I love about ColourPop. It’s super easy to find the perfect lipstick for whatever mood you’re in. Even if you’re in the mood for an electric blue-purple. I don’t always wake up and think to myself, “Hmm, I’m thinking blurple lips today.” However, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want one in my collection for those random moments where bold blurple lips are where it’s at.
That’s why I felt all warm and fuzzy inside when ColourPop came out with So Wavy Ultra Satin Lipstick for summer. It’s a vibrant purple with a cool blue undertone that’s surprisingly easy to wear. All you need is a little confidence and a kick ass attitude to pull it off. So Wavy isn’t your average purple by a long shot but the color still manages to look amazing on all skin tones from fair to deep. As long as you love bright purple lips, I guarantee that you’ll love So Wavy too.
I know I do! The ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip formula makes So Wavy incredibly easy to wear as it glides on smoothly and evenly with full coverage and creamy whipped mousse texture. So Wavy doesn’t completely dry down so it’s not nearly as budge-proof as an Ultra Matte Lip but it’s certainly much more comfortable to wear. So Wavy feels quite nice on the lips and lasts for around 7 hours before beginning to fade. Even as it wears away, So Wavy still doesn’t suck the moisture out of my lips so it’s a breeze to reapply once it wears off. So Wavy isn’t the most natural lipstick on the block but I think it would make a great addition to any purple lovers stash. It’s one of the most unique purple lipsticks on the block!
