There’s always that one beauty product that tons of people rave about all over but is incredibly hard to find. The CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer is definitely one of them! If you do a quick Google search, you’ll find tons of good reviews on it and even a few places to order it online. But finding it in stores? Needle in a haystack. The CoverGirl Queen Collection isn’t available in all stores so I really had to dig to find it. After lots of searching, I lucked up and came across it at my local Target. It took a lot of effort to get my hands on the CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer but I don’t regret it at all. It’s such a wonderful bronzer!
As I’ve said before, finding a good bronzer for brown skin is tough stuff. Most bronzers are too light, blend right in or contains so much shimmer that they’re better off as highlighters. The bronzer struggle is real for dark skin divas! It appears that CoverGirl understood this struggle and teamed up with Queen Latifah to create the Queen Collection which features the Natural Hue Bronzer for dark skin. There’s 3 shades to fit the many beautiful shades of brown with Ebony Bronze being the darkest. Ebony Bronze is a warm, deep chocolate bronze with a hint of shimmer that works best for dark to deep skin tones. At first glance, Ebony Bronze looks like another shimmery bronzer but it actually sports a nice satin finish that doesn’t look flat or shimmery. Instead, Ebony Bronze has a very natural skin-like finish that adds subtle yet buildable definition to add a little color to cheeks or help chisel them for pronounced contour.
The Ebony Bronze Natural Hue Bronzer has a very dense, stiff texture that’s sheer yet easily buildable. Despite the drier texture, Ebony Bronze is incredibly easy to apply as it deposits pigment very well and adheres to the skin perfectly fine without looking powdery, blotchy or uneven. It also blends pretty well thanks to the sheer coverage. Ebony Bronze may not sport the same soft, silky texture as my Bobbi bronzer but it works just as well at warming up my complexion and acting as a solid contour powder. In fact, I like Ebony Bronze a little more than my Bobbi bronzer because it’s not as warm and it’s a little deeper so it adds more definition and helps me look a bit more chiseled. Not to mention, Ebony Bronze wears just as well lasting for around 8-10 hours with just the slightest sign of fading. It may have taken me a while to track down the CoverGirl Queen Collection Ebony Bronze Natural Hue Bronzer but it was well worth the search and deserves all of the rave reviews its received over the years. Ebony Bronze is a wonderful budget beauty bronzer for dark skin divas who’ve been struggling to find the perfect bronzer. I highly recommend heading to your local Target or Walmart to get your hands on Ebony Bronze!
