Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Haul: Day 6

Tarte The Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss in Sass, Intoxicating and Rogue

Just when you thought you’ve seen the last of my Ulta 21 Days of Beauty hauls I unleash more. Don’t you just love it?? I wasn’t kidding at all when I told you guys that Ulta had me hooked almost everyday for the entire event. There were so many great beauty steals this time around that had me mapping out a budget and whipping out my trusty pink highlighter to strategize. It got real!

There were a few things here and there that I wasn’t quite interested in at first but there a lot more beauty steals that I knew I was going to end up indulging in. Like the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss that went on sale for half off on Day 6. For just $12, you could grab up to 2 (or more if you cheat) of Tarte’s creamy, buttery smooth Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss to tickle your fancy.

After trying VIP and Renegade, I knew I wanted to add a couple more Lip Sculptors to my collection. For months, I’ve had my eye on Rogue and Intoxicating and it was just my luck that I held out and they went on sale. I couldn’t be happier! I rushed to grab Rogue, a deep wine, first because fall was right around the corner and I knew I’d be rocking it quite often to give my lips a little break from my favorite vampy mattes that are a little drying. Then I reached for Intoxicating, a spunky berry pink, that’s a great fall color and looks amazing on my brown skin. A girl’s gotta have her pinks!

At first, I thought I’d be okay with just Intoxicating and Rogue but I kept on swatching more of The Lip Sculptors and decided that I wanted Sass too. Since they were only $12 that day I thought to myself, “What the heck? Get it girl!” Sass is a soft, pinky nude that’s a great everyday lipstick for many skin tones but I love how effortless and easy to wear it is for my brown skin. I don’t necessarily need a lip liner with it if I don’t feel like wearing one. And thanks to Tarte’s buttery lipstick and gloss formula, I don’t have to worry about the Sass settling into my lip lines or emphasizing my dry spots making my lips look all pale and crazy. Can’t beat that!

If you’ve been to Ulta lately, you’ve probably noticed that Tarte has a new 4 piece The Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss holiday set for $34 with a mix of pinks and nudes. I don’t need this set at all but the formula is so darn good that I’m more than likely going to pick it up. I know double ended beauty products don’t always seem the most “hip” but you’re seriously missing out if you haven’t tried any of the Tarte Lip Sculptors yet. They’re so good!

Did you pick up any of Tarte’s Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss during 21 Days of Beauty?
