The thought of liquid eyeshadow can be scary. Almost like applying foundation to your lids in an effort to create a masterpiece. I shudder at the thought. Trying to blend together foundation for a quick look just sounds daunting. Thank goodness liquid eyeshadows are totally different! I’ve been hooked on the Armani Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadows for months (thanks Influenster!) because they’re insanely easy to use, quick and quite versatile. In fact, the Armani Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadows have become my go to for creating quick, everyday smoky eyes.
I have 3 shades in my arsenal including:
- 12 Golden Ash shimmering champagne gold with golden shimmer
- 21 Nude Smoke light cool beige with pink undertone
- 24 Fur Smoke deep reddish brown
They’re all moderately pigmented with a thin, creamy mousse-like texture that isn’t too thick or too watery so they’re quite easy to work with. The Armani Eye Tints feature a doe foot applicator that makes them super easy to apply because you can literally just swipe, pat and go. The lightweight formula doesn’t require much effort at all to blend and works well using your fingers or a synthetic brush. I just recommend working quickly. These are liquid eyeshadows you know! After about 30 seconds, the Armani Eye Tints begin to dry down and set. And once they do, they’re on!
Even without an eyeshadow primer, I have no problems getting the Armani Eye Tints to get me through a busy work day without creasing or fading. At first, I thought the Armani Eye Tints were just going to be some fancy pants crappy formula but they’re truly luxurious from the packaging to the application. They’re well worth the hefty $40 price tag!
Besides the easy of the formula, the colors I received made it super easy to create soft, everyday looks that require less than 10 minutes. Sometimes, I’ll use Fur Smoke all over my lids as a base, lightly blend it into my crease for a smoky effect and then pat Golden Ash on my lids for a soft sparkling smoky eye. Most times, though, I like to apply Fur Smoke all over my lids, blend it lightly into the crease, pat Nude Smoke onto my lids and blend Golden Ash into my inner corners. The result is a soft, nude matte smoky eye with a touch of shimmer that instantly makes my eyes pop. Especially when paired with a good black liner and falsies!
Have you ever used liquid eyeshadows before? How did you like them?
