Easy Sunset Inspired Eyes for Fall + Eyeshadow Tutorial

Are you ready for fall? ‘Cause it’s time to get ready! Fall is quickly breezing around the corner and I’ve got a simple eye look for you. I grabbed my trusty Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette and cranked out a natural sunset-inspired look that’s really easy to recreate. You can watch me create this look step-by-step above in my eyeshadow tutorial. All you’ll need is about 10 minutes and some good willpower to blend, blend, blend!

Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette

The Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 Eyeshadow Palette has become my go-to palette for quick everyday looks. I love that it has a solid mix of neutrals but isn’t too boring. This isn’t your typical brown neutral palette! You get a little orange, plum, orange-gold and more to get a little creative. For this look, I was feeling a little creative and fun but still wanted to keep it simple. I blended Madagascar (neutral brown matte) into my crease as a transition shade and then layered Morocco (bright brick orange matte) on top for a little pop of color. Next, I patted Nefertiti (shimmering orange-gold) all over my lid blending it lightly into Morocco and Madagascar. You can see how I blend them all together in my eyeshadow tutorial.

Tarte Maneater Liquid Eyeliner

I was feeling a little glamorous so I added a small, tapered line to help finish the look. I used my trusty Tarte Maneater Liquid Liner because it’s incredibly intense with great staying power. Man-eater is my holy grail liquid liner for getting a clean, precise line without any smudging, transferring or tugging. For this look, I started at the outer corner of my eyes pressing firmly for a thicker line and then finished with a light flick towards my inner corner. This elongates the shape of the eyes and makes them appear more almond and bigger.

Ardell Wispies

Like liquid liner, adding falsies to this look is completely optional. A quick coat (or two) of mascara will top off this sunset-inspired look just fine. But if you want to go the extra glam mile then feel free to add falsies. I didn’t want to a super dramatic lash for this look since it’s very simple and natural. However, I still wanted a little extra pop. So I opted for the ultra-long, flirty Ardell Wispies. As the name implies, they’re wispy lashes that are long and luxurious but not too full. So they still look natural and feel weightless. The Ardell Wispies made a perfect addition to this sunset-inspired look for fall!
