Babe In Paradise

The Morphe x Bretman Rock Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette is a megawatt highlighting palette inspired by Bretman Rock’s Filipino and Hawaiian origins. The Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette features 6 blinding highlighters including:

  • Behbeh Girl icy silver pearl with baby pink duochrome shift
  • Vaygaytion champagne yellow gold
  • Mahu golden bronze
  • Get Lei’d pale iridescent white gold
  • Cheehoo deep mauve pearl
  • Shady Bitch deep bronze gold

Each highlighter is finely milled with an almost creamy texture that’s nicely pigmented and easy to apply. The formula reminds me a lot of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits but with a bit more wow factor and pigment. As I don’t have to build these highlighters at all for maximum glow!

The Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette also wears nicely, too. I hate to admit that I’ve been holding out. But I’ve been rocking this palette all summer with excellent results. Even in the blazing heat and I’m glistening (aka sweating) all over. The Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette holds up for well over 7 hours with minimal fading.

Perfect for People of Color!

Bretman Rock isn’t the darkest YouTuber on the block. So I wasn’t expecting the Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette to be super inclusive. Surprisingly, it’s a chocolate cheek dream. The Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette is gorgeous on dark skin!

Even the pale shades look beautiful on my skin tone. Naturally, I’m a sucker for gold and bronze highlighter. So Shady Bitch, Mahu and Vaygaytion are always in rotation. But the less conventional shades (for me) like Behbeh Girl, Get Lei’d and Cheehoo are quite beautiful on dark skin too. I definitely have to give Morphe and Bretman a pat on the back for creating such a versatile highlight palette that beauties of all skin tones can use.

It Comes With a Brush, too!

Yes, the Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette comes with a brush, too. And no. It’s not one of those janky low quality brushes you usually toss. You know Morphe is all about brushes so they came correct!

Babe In Paradise comes equipped with a fluffy natural haired fan brush that’s very easy to use. It picks up pigment quite well and blends like a dream too. In fact, the included fan brush is my go to for this palette. As it yields the most beautiful “wet” finish with little effort.

Well Worth the Coin!

Normally, a highlighter palette this banging would set you back at least $40. And that’s not even including a bomb ass brush to go with it. It’s a shame the Babe In Paradise Highlight Palette is limited edition because it’s seriously a steal at just $29! You can find it online and in stores at Ulta Beauty and Morphe.
