Wet n Wild Carnival in Rio Shimmer Palette Swatches

 photo 20130126_203934.jpg

When I first started hearing about Fergie teaming up with Wet n Wild I got a little excited. Especially when I noticed the shimmer palettes that were included! They reminded me a lot of the MAC Mineralize Sinfinish highlighters so I was really interested in trying them. I had my eye on the Rose Champagne and the Carnival in Rio palettes but I decided to go with Carnival in Rio because it was a bit darker and looked a bit like the Superb Mineralize Skinfinish I skipped when MAC released their Glamour Daze collection.

Milani Easybrow Pencil in Dark Brown Swatches & Review

For months I’ve been searching for a nice affordable eyebrow pencil and I’ve definitely found it! The Milani Easybrow retractable pencil is hands down the best brow pencil I’ve ever used. I’ve always used cheapie liners because I go through them so quickly. But they never made my brows look exactly the way I wanted them to. This pencil is what I’ve been searching for all my life!

MAC Strong Woman Lipstick Swatches & Review

Before I could even catch a good swatch of this lipstick I knew I wanted it! The product list for the Strength collection was out on Specktra months before the collection dropped. Once the pictures started surfacing I was more than positive that I was going to get my hands on Strong Woman. MAC describes this beautiful lippie as a bright violet but to me it comes off  a deep red tone purple. This lipstick isn’t really bright at all. It’s actually much more subdued than I was expecting but it still looks great!

Benefit Coral my World Set Swatches & Review

Intrigued by all the Benefit buzz I picked up two sets last month to finally try out the brand and see what all the hype was about. I started off with the Pretty Committee set and then decided to try this one out too. It only cost me $12 so I figured I wouldn’t have much to lose. The Coral my World set comes with a tiny sample of Benefit’s Coralista blush and a deluxe sample of their Sun Beam highlighter. I’ve heard nice things about the blush but I really wanted this set because of the Sun Beam. High Beam is a beautiful highlighter that’s pretty universal but I just knew Sun Beam would be even more flattering on my warm complexion.
