Lipstick can be so much fun! But sometimes it can get a lil intimidating. Like when it comes to picking out the perfect red lipstick. Red lips can make a pretty powerful statement so finding the right shade is essential to make sure you stop traffic every time you walk into a room. ‘Cause that’s what red lips are all about, right?

Thanks to L’Oreal, finding your perfect red is now that much easier with the new Collection Exclusive Pure Reds. There’s 9 shades in the collection all inspired by present and past L’Oreal ambassadors to help you find the best red for your skin tone. The ambassadors include: Blake Lively, Doutzen Krous, Eva Longoria, Frieda Pinto, Jennifer Lopez, Juliannae Moore, Liya Kebede and Zoe Saldana.

Each lipstick has a velvety matte finish and comes in a black rubbery matte tube (similar to NARS) with gold accents. I’m not sure if this collection is limited edition (there was no sign or stickers on the display) but they are a part of the Colour Riche line so they feature L’Oreal’s signature powdery floral scent and share similar packaging.

Although there’s 9 shades in the collection, my local CVS only carried 6 shades. So as a heads up, you may have to check Walgreens for a complete display. I ended up grabbing 3 shades including:

• Blake’s Red cool blue red
• Frieda’s Red deep fuchsia red
• Zoe’s Red wine red

As you probably guessed, Frieda’s Red is hands down my favorite of the bunch because it has a strong pink undertone and you know I love my pank. However, I think I’m going to love Zoe’s Red, too. It’s just something about deep reds that’s super sexy!
