Fall Face of the Day

I know it’s December but I’m still clinging to the last bits of Fall! It’s my favorite season! The big comfy scarves and sweaters, Ugg boots and deep colors just set my soul on fire. The weather has been so nice in Michigan these last few days so I decided to go for a nice Fall approach to my makeup today. Here’s what I used to achieve this look:

    • Milani Easy Brow pencil in Dark Brown
    • Sheer Cover duo concealer (conceal brows)
    • Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero
    • Ardell Lashes #105
    • Benefit They’re Real mascara (bottom lashes)
    • Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay concealer in Deep
    • Ben Nye Banana Powder (set concealer)
    • Sleek Contour Kit in deep
    • Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Stellar
    • La Femme blush in Russet
    • Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Wine Not
    • Loreal Infallible lip gloss in Barely Nude

      Date Night Eye Look

      image

I have been incredibly lazy this summer. I only decide to put on eyeshadow when I’m going out which is like almost never lol. But now I’m itching to create more looks! I got asked to dinner a few nights ago by this really hot guy so I decided to go all out.

      Purple Eye of the Day!

      image

I haven’t seriously played in makeup in so long but it felt good to dig in my Too Faced Glamour to Go palette to create this look. At first, I wasn’t going to go all out with the eyeshadow. I started off with my usual thick cat eye liner and then decided to add some drama by smoking out my crease a bit with a matte brown shadow. Before I knew it, I was dipping my brush into this beautiful shimmery purple shadow. I just LOVE the flecks of blue glitter! It gives it a bit of iridescent look. I really do miss wearing eyeshadow. It’s so fun, creative and expressive! I need to do it more often!

Day 4: A Picture of You in Your Favorite Single Eyeshadow

      image

Sorry for the slight pause in my 30 day makeup challenge! I was dreading this day a bit lol. This was a little difficult for me. I’m a go hard or go home type of chick with eyeshadow. If my not flaunting my style and taste with multiple shadows I just throw on liner and be done. But for this challenge I got over it and covered my lids in my absolute favorite shadow Half Baked by Urban Decay. It’s a shimmery golden shadow that’s super pigmented and soft as silk. I just love how vibrant and sparkly it is even without a base. It’s my go to shadow!

      Naked Neutral Clash

      image

After months of lusting over the cult classic Naked palette from Urban Decay I absolutely couldn’t wait to give it a go. So far, I’m in love! This palette is everything I thought it would be and totally worth the hype!

This is the very first look I created using Naked. I highlighted my inner eye with Virgin and then swept Buck all over my lid. I applied Gunmetal into the outer corner and crease, used Half Baked on my lid and then highlighted my brow bone using Naked. I blended a bit of Darkhorse into the crease as well. On my bottom lid I added a vibrant punch of color using my Urban Decay Shadow Stash pencil in Clash. I’m still loving those things and definitely loving this palette! Urban Decay is quickly becoming a favorite!
