After months of lusting over the cult classic Naked palette from Urban Decay I absolutely couldn’t wait to give it a go. So far, I’m in love! This palette is everything I thought it would be and totally worth the hype!
This is the very first look I created using Naked. I highlighted my inner eye with Virgin and then swept Buck all over my lid. I applied Gunmetal into the outer corner and crease, used Half Baked on my lid and then highlighted my brow bone using Naked. I blended a bit of Darkhorse into the crease as well. On my bottom lid I added a vibrant punch of color using my Urban Decay Shadow Stash pencil in Clash. I’m still loving those things and definitely loving this palette! Urban Decay is quickly becoming a favorite!
I was feeling a little jazzy today so I decided to dazzle up my eyes with a bit of makeup! I adore smokey looks and glitter so why not do a nice shimmery smokey look?
My little cousin went off to prom recently and it inspired me to play in a bit of makeup! I decided to create a nice green and gold smokey look. I used my Urban Decay Shadow pencil in Sin as a base for this look and it turned out absolutely amazing! I just love that thing!! I also used my Sedona Lace Warm 88 palette for the shadows. I chose a gold shimmery color for my inner eye and lid. I blended a mossy green shadow into the gold shadow on the rest of my lid. Then I applied a matte black shadow into the outer corner and blended into the crease a bit. To finish the look I highlighted my brow bone with a light tan shadow.
Last night, I decided to get dolled up and take my boyfriend to see Curren$y. We’re both big fans so when I found out he was going to be in town I just had to grab us a pair of tickets!
Did I mention how quickly I’m falling for my Urban Decay Shadow Stash? Ok, I’m sure I did when I created a pretty vibrant look last week using Crash and Delinquent. But I’m definitely saying it again this week but this time in a softer, more neutral way. If you know me, I’m no stranger to neutral smokey eyes. So when I gave Sin a spin I just couldn’t help to pair it with a matte brown shadow for a soft but sexy smokey eye. This look is great for the office and a night on the town. Plus it was really simple. Especially with my shadow pencil! These little chubby beauties really make applying eyeshadow a dream!
It’s rare if I use my Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Stash often but I most certainly need to! I got a little bored watching my boyfriend edit videos so I decided to reach into my makeup pouch and see what I can get into. Of course, I ended up setting my sights on the super vibrant and lovely Crash and Delinquent shadow pencils. Very convenient to have considering I still don’t have a travel brush set yet! I used the gorgeous Turquoise Crash on my inner corner and half of lid and used the super cute bright purple Delinquent on the rest of the lid. I’m interested to see how these hold up as bases. They’re so vibrant!
A couple nights ago I went out with my bestfriend to Chilis for some food and drinks. If it wasn’t for happy hour I swear I’d have no life LOL. I decided to meet up with my love since she was in town from Virginia.
I decided to rock a simple brown smokey eye, pinky nude lipstick for our little rendezvous and a flush of coral on my cheeks. Simple but still cute!
I love neutral looks! I think it’s because I’m so attracted to earth tones. But every now and then I like to spice things up and a bit of color. Summer is right around the corner so why not add some fun to my looks?
So over the weekend I finally decided to drag my little self out of bed and go out for some drinks and fun! I forgot to get a pic of my outfit (silly head!) but I did manage to take plenty of makeup pics of course!
