I swatched these little beauties so long ago but I should have reached for them the very second they reached my door. This set is absolutely amazing! I can’t believe it took me this long to see the beauty in these remarkable little pencils but I am thoroughly addicted!
I got these back in February during Urban Decay’s Friends & Family sale so they were super cheap but definitely worth every penny of the full price ($36 I believe). The set features five super creamy and pigmented eyeshadow pencils that range from soft neutrals to eye popping vibrant shades.
The only thing more important than painting my face is keeping my hair long, strong and healthy. And boy does this conditioner get the job done! Aubrey Organics is a green beauty line that offers amazing organic hair and skin products. I stumbled upon the brand when I got started with my healthy hair journey. I kept reading about the importance of deep conditioning (which is reeeeally important!!) and knew I had to find a nice, thick deep conditioner for my super dry and super thick locks. Honeysuckle Rose is definitely the right deep conditioner for me!
I love this product so much I finished it! As you can see I picked up a replacement immediately! The Covergirl Perfect Point Plus pencil is not only a great liner but an amazing brow pencil too! I don’t know how I’d live without it!
For the past two weeks I’ve been seeing pink! On my nails that is! I fell in love with the Revlon Colorstay polish in Passionate Pink the second I laid eyes on it! I loved it so much I wiped off my old polish and swatched it the second I got home! I loved the way it looked on me so I decided to pair it with the Animal Instincts Sally Hansen Salon Effects I picked up for my next manicure!
And after two weeks I’m still loving them both! I’m pretty impressed how the two held up after such a long time! I did use a top coat but I was still expecting a bit more chipping and for Animal Instincts to go flying off within a week but they held their ground!
The NYX I Dream of St. Thomas palette is part of the line’s Caribbean Collection which features 10 different island themed 5 pan eyeshadow palettes. I love the theme NYX picked for this collection! It’s fun and cute!
Have you ever loved a brush so much it hurts? That’s how I feel about this one! Sedona Lace really have a winner on their hands!
This Synthetic Blender brush really impressed me! I received it for free during a promotion and I couldn’t be happier! It’s great for both eyeshadow and concealer. Plus it’s perfect for contouring your nose!
I love falsies! But lately I’ve been on the lazy side and haven’t really been feeling like applying any. No big deal! I had a couple tubes of mascara lying around that I’ve never opened. Perfect time to try them out! First up, Clinique’s High Impact!
I bought a Clinique set a while ago at the Cosmetics Company Outlet for like $15 which included some eye makeup remover, eyeshadow and blush palette, mirror, bag, and of course this lovely full sized beauty! Yes! All of that for $15! This usually costs $15 alone!
This mascara comes in a large green tube with the product name imprinted in silver with a long silver cap. It’s not the worst but it’s not that appealing either. That doesn’t bother me though! It’s pretty sturdy and I don’t mind a little green. 😉
The wand is a pretty nice size and the applicator is pretty long so you can really get in there! The bristles are very dense. Almost a little too dense at times. This wand can pick up A LOT of product at once. I always wipe the excess off any mascara but I was wiping off globs with this one sometimes.
I have short, thick and curly lashes and this formula seems like its pretty great at giving my lashes a gorgeous lift but the wand may cause clumping and sometimes doesn’t separate well. The only thing negative I can really say about the formula itself is that it can make your lashes a little firm. Not a big deal for me but if you’re looking for super soft luscious lashes after a coat of mascara this isn’t it!
But don’t count it out just yet! I plan on picking up some other mascara wands to see if it really does make a difference. Either way the results will probably be amazing! Check out the before and after!
Amazing improvement in just two coats! I don’t really like the thick wand but I love the way this mascara transforms my lashes! I can’t wait to try it with a less dense wand!
If there is anything I can’t live without it’s definitely liner. I feel like liner can make or break a look. That’s why I think it’s really important to find a good liner.
And these beauties definitely meet the mark! They’re super rich, smooth and pigmented. They’re about $8 but totally worth it!
What I really love about these liners is that they’re super pointy! You can make both thin and thick lines with ease. Plus you get a lot of product at once so you won’t really have to sharpen often. The pencils are also small but not too small. They’re the perfect size for precision and control for me.
These are the darkest liners I’ve ever come across. Just one swipe gives you the perfect intensity! When L’Oreal said smoldering they meant it! These are perfect for smudging for the perfect natural smokey look! I wish they came in other colors other than brown and black but these are still a win!
Here’s some swatches!
They last all day without really losing its intensity! These do bleed a little in the corners but I find that setting with a powder eyeshadow really helps with that. Definitely a good buy!
When I first started applying makeup, a duo fibre brush was the first brush I couldn’t wait to get my hands on! I didn’t want to splurge back then so I snatched up the Elf Studio Stippling brush! I must say this brush was a pretty good investment!
You remember that cute little palette I ordered a while back? Well I’m finally reviewing it!
This pocket palette really packs a punch! (Try saying that 5 times!) Seriously though, this little cutie is amazing!
Here’s the scoop!
