Another day, another liquid lipstick release! Recently, Tarte launched a brand new line of Tarteist Lip Paints and matching Lip Crayons and they’re finally available in stores. There’s10 shades available ranging from nudes to bright pinks and even a funky purple all in cute, trendy names that are so with the times.

Of course, the second we received the new Tarteist Lip Paints and Crayons I was all over them to see what they’re all about. I haven’t tried them on just yet but I managed to swatch all of them in store and got a good idea of what to expect. For starters, the Tarteist Lip Paints aren’t like your average liquid-to-matte lipsticks. Although they sport a matte finish, they never truly set so they’re not budge-proof and probably not as long lasting as say a Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick or ColourPop Ultra Matte Lipstick. Instead, they’re a lot like the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. So if you’re a fan of the Soft Matte Lip Creams then you’ll probably love the Tarteist Lip Paints. I’m a little disappointed that they don’t fully set but I do love the colors Tarte whipped up. Checked out the swatches!
