The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss Has Finally Arrived!
Usually when it comes to makeup launches we get first dibs on everything here in the states. We’re sorta like makeup guinea pigs but I’m always happy about it because I’m impatient and just can’t wait to check out new makeup. Sometimes, though, we’re left waiting and waiting for beauty releases that seem like they’re just never gonna show up. Like the Maybelline Color Blur Pencils we finally saw after about a year of waiting.
And just recently the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Glosses that we’ve been seeing teases of forever. Our fellow beauty junkies over the pond have been enjoying the Infallible Pro Matte Glosses for quite some time but after a few months of waiting I was starting to think we wouldn’t be seeing them anytime soon here in the US. Just when I had finally forgotten about them I walked into Ulta one day and spotted a brand spankin’ new display full of them. They’re hereeeee!
L’Oreal describes the new Infallible Pro Matte Gloss as:
A Pro-Matte revolution: our first whipped liquid matte colour. Intense high pigment shades create long lasting matte colour. Lush velvety texture feels soft for all day comfort. The unique Pro-Sculpt applicator allows you to create endless looks from a bold sculpted look to a nude ombre.
I picked up 2 of the nudes including: 316 Statement Nude and 318 Bare Attraction. There were a couple of other shades that caught my eye but I wanted to start off slow and dip my toes in first. I’ve recently wore 316 Statement Nude to work and I really enjoyed it even though it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. With all of these liquid lipstick releases running wild I automatically assumed the Infallible Pro Matte Glosses were liquid lipsticks too–but not quite. They’re actually a matte gloss that’s incredibly easy on the lips. I’m still in the process of testing the Infallible Pro Matte Glosses but I can already tell they’re going to be a nice addition to my makeup bag.
