Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution Review

Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution Review

Falling asleep with your makeup on is one of the worst things you can you do to your skin. Why? Because makeup clog your pores. So when you pair it with all the dirt and oil your face accumulates on an average day you’re really asking for trouble. That’s why I try my very best to remove my makeup before bed. Even if I’m deathly tired.

I just know my skin will always thank me later. However, there are times I just don’t feel like heading to the bathroom for a drawn out nighttime routine. Especially when I work night shifts. The last thing I want to do after working till midnight is stand on my feet an extra 5 minutes over the sink. But I gotta remove my makeup, right? That’s where micellar waters come in handy. I thought the Simple one was good but the Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution completely blows it out of the water!

Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution Review

Vichy touts the Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution as a micellar water, soothing toner and micellar water. Usually, when companies make big claims like that they fall short but I think Vichy nailed it. Pureté Thermale actually does all that Vichy claims.

The lightweight hydrating formula feels and looks like water but it has a light, crisp clean scent and leaves behind a slightly sticky film that absorbs quickly. Pureté Thermale actually removes makeup (unlike Simple) including foundation, eyeliner, eyebrow gel and waterproof mascara. Of course, it takes a little more effort to completely remove the waterproof stuff but it definitely gets the job done. On a full faced day, it takes about 4 Shiseido cotton pads to remove my makeup. 5 if I’m being thorough. On my lighter days when I’m just sporting light eye makeup and BB cream it takes maybe 2 cotton pads.

Pureté Thermale is pretty good at removing oil and dirt too–making it a great toner as Vichy claims. I’ve used this stuff after washing my face to balance my skin and remove all the gunk my cleaner missed and it works just as well as my beloved Chanel toner.

The Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution is a little pricier than the Simple version ($17 vs $7) but it’s still rather affordable and works like a charm. I’ve been using it for over a month now and it’s been a life saver for my sensitive skin and lazy habits. As you can see, I’m already halfway through my bottle and looking forward to repurchasing. If you’re looking for a soothing toner, eye makeup remover, micellar water or all of the above the Vichy Pureté 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution is a must have!

You can find the Vichy Pureté 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution at Ulta but it’s excluded from coupons so I recommend checking your local CVS to see if they carry Vichy. That way you can use your Beauty Club coupons and Extra Care bucks to snag it at a better price (like I did).
