Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio Swatches

Boy they weren’t kidding when they said, “Big things come in small packages.” These trios are EXTREMELY nice. Very nice formulation for a very affordable drug store brand. The pigmentation is simply amazing.

Of course some shades are a little powdery but for $2.99 at Walgreens these babies are definitely a steal! They pack a big punch for very little. Check out what I mean!

I’ve actually tried Silent Treatment and I really enjoyed using the shadows! Majority of the shades in these trios are shimmers but I did happen to spot Walking on Eggshells which is completely matte. All of the shades come off a little powdery. The mattes and shimmers came off a little chalky but still swatched fairly smoothly and appeared to blend out nicely.

There were only two shades I had a little trouble swatching and those were the two black shimmer shades in Spoiled Brat and I’m Getting Sunburned. Both shades had larger chunks of glitter than the other palette’s shimmery shades causing them to come off blotchy and gritty when I attempted to swatch. It does get better with blending though. Maybe with a brush these shades will fare better.

Full review coming soon lovelies!

  1. Ahh they are all so pretty!! I wish we had them here !!!

    1. You can order them online from Walgreens! I would suggest you buy a couple if you plan on doing so though. The shipping is $5.50

  2. Which one do you like best? I want to try them, but I want to start with one first..

    1. I tried Walking on Eggshells yesterday && I loved it! I didn’t think the shadows would pop as much as did. If you can find it pick it up! If not, I really like the color combo in I Got Good Jeans

      1. I will do, thank you 🙂

  3. Have you tried them with a little water? I love doing that with mine.

    1. Thank you! Actually I haven’t thought of trying that with these. You just gave me a great idea for future swatching!
