Drugstore Haul!

At the moment, I’m a total budget beauty! I’m slowly making my way into the big girl world of makeup: high end cosmetics. In the mean time, I don’t plan on letting up on the drugstore good times!

Lets roll!

CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lip Pencils

The Rite Aid I raided had a very small selection of lip pencils. I was little disappointed but I did manage to spot three nice looking shades in the CoverGirl section.

These Lip Perfection pencils appear to be pretty nice. They swatched very smoothly and were impossible to remove without makeup remover. I had to scrub swatches off in the shower! I hope it has the same staying power on lips! They cost about $7 each.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Blushes

After seeing some swatches of these blushes I HAD to grab a couple. They were $3 each and totally steal! They feel really soft and are very pigmented!

Milani Illuminating Face Powders

These powders are just the CUTEST! Almost too cute to use! Milani claims these powders can be used as bronzer, blush, and/or highlighter. I think they may be too light for blush or bronzer. I think they’d make great highlighters!

Here’s some swatches!

10 Thoughts to “Drugstore Haul!”

  1. yay! u bought the blushes!

    1. Yesss! Your swatches got me lol. Thank you!

  2. The blushes are lovely, i’m a big fan of drugstore make-up too! And it’s such a coincidence i just bought a couple of ELF brushes online too, am just waiting for them to arrive now.

    1. You’d be surprised what you can find in a drugstore! Which line did you order your brushes from?

      1. I think it was the basic line, just a couple of brushes mainly for eyeshadow application. Are there some that you would recommend? I heard eco tools are another affordable option that is great to use as well.

        1. The Elf essential line brushes aren’t bad at all! Especially for a dollar! I loved the angled and c shaped shadow brushes but the ferrules came off after a couple months. I haven’t tried ecotools yet but I’ve heard they’re pretty good! I actually want to try a couple out

  3. Let me know if u do 🙂 A review on that would be great!

    1. I’ll try to pick some up over the weekend! ^_^

  4. love the milani illuminating face powders!
