My Spring Beauty Vox Box!

image

Ok so back in March I signed up to site called Influenster that I heard about from a fellow blogger, Tina (click to check her out!). Influenster offers an amazing beauty “vox box” program similar to other sites like Birchbox but better! Influenster is completely free and the products are full sized! Once you sign up, you just unlock as many badges as you can. The more you unlock, the more likely your chances are of getting selected for a box!

It took a little while to receive a box since I signed up right after the love vox boxes went out but I was pleasantly surprised to get selected!

It is definitely a nice treat to get goodies mailed to your door for free. The only thing is, you have to review and share the products you receive in order to remain in the program. It’s not a problem for me considering I love spreading the word about what’s hot and I’m already doing this for Birchbox which I’m paying for. (You can check out this month’s Gossip Girl themed box here)

Now on to the goodies!

I received an email informing me that the boxes were delayed this round to slip in another product. I received 7 FULL SIZED (my mind is still blown lol) products!

Included with my 7 awesome goodies I received a card, of course, educating me on the things enclosed and how much they cost.

This is the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer. It’s usually sold in a kit for $30. I’m glad I received it because I never heard of the brand and probably wouldn’t have gotten the chance to try it. I haven’t tried it yet but I did dab into it to feel the texture. It is so soft and creamy! I think I’m going to give it a whirl tomorrow.

This concealer was like one of the most impressive things about the entire program. What makes it so great is the fact that Influenster happened to nail the shade they sent me. I’ve read about paid sample programs that send out face products in shades that are completely wrong and unusable. I’m really impressed they took the time to get it right when everything is free. Good job Influenster!

Next, is the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash. It ranges between $6.99-$8.99 a bottle. This isn’t the biggest bottle, of course, but it’s definitely going to last me a while. Plus, it’s soap free, dye free and hypo-allergenic so it’ll be perfect for my sensitive skin! I feel like they know me LOL!

Anyone who knows me knows I love a good lippie and this ChapStick Lip Shield sounds pretty awesome! My vox box card claims it offers all season protection and moisture for year round exposure. It even includes SPF 50+! It retails for $1.89-$2.39.

Look familiar? I had to laugh when I seen this. The second I saw the Sally Hansen Salon Effects I thought “Wouldn’t it be funny if they sent the same design I just had?” They did. It wasn’t THAT funny but so ironic. On the bright side, I was actually planning to give all my nails a little Animal Instinct and ran out of my first box with just a few fingers to spare. So this extra box was heaven sent! These little beauties will cost you $9.99.

I was super excited about this Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist! It’s a new collection and the bottle is so cute! It retails for $14

I even got a nice snack! Influenster threw in a strawberry Soyjoy bar to try. I thought this was a really nice addition. I’ve heard of these bars but never tried it. I’m a little skeptical considering it’s made of whole soy (sounds kind of icky) but I’m still going to give it a try!

Here’s why the boxes were delayed and I’m definitely not upset or disappointed! As an added bonus, I received a pair of Dr. Scholl’s for her Ball of Foot pads. I can’t wait to slip these in a pair of heels and give them a go! They look like they could be pretty comfortable!

That’s it for my pretty awesome vox box! As I mentioned before, I have to review these things to be eligible for the next box so expect some reviews to roll around soon! Don’t forget to sign up for a chance to get one too!
