My first MAC purchase was the first Viva Glam Nicki lipstick so I felt it was only right to grab the other! At first I wasn’t too sure about trying it because it looked really white in some of the swatches I checked out. But while I was exchanging my Veronica mascara for the Betty version I decided to give it a quick swatch to try it out for myself. Now I’m totally in love with it because it’s soo pretty!

I’ll be honest here. This isn’t a lipstick that will appeal or flatter everyone but the color is rather unique. It’s a cool lilac shade with a nice mix of purple and pink. Some ladies were disappointed it isn’t a bit more lavender but I’m really happy with the slight pink undertone. It warms it up a bit. Viva Glam Nicki 2 comes in an amplified finish which is super pigmented and not too drying. It wears fairly well at 4-5 hours and it doesn’t settle or emphasize dryness too much. Because the color is so light I have to pair it with a liner. So far I love how it looks with berry, pink and purple liners. It’s a very pretty lipstick! Plus all the proceeds go to the MAC Aids foundation so it’s for a great cause, too!
