MAC Cheery Cherry Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm Review

Limited edition MAC collections always have a way of sucking me into buying things I didn’t intend to! I immediately dismissed the Mineralize Tinted Lip Balms when they were introduced in last year’s Apres Chic collection because they’re super sheer. But the newer colors in the Baking Beauties collection were so darn cute I couldn’t resist this time!

I just love pink so of course I picked Cheery Cherry! It’s a pretty pastel pink with a hint of shimmer in the tube but applied it just looks like a clear gloss. Like all MAC lippies Cheery Cherry has the classic vanilla scent that I just love! The texture of this balm is very unique. It’s moisturizing like a balm but feels like a gloss. If you’re not a fan of MAC lip glasses you probably won’t like the Mineralize Tinted Lip Balms either. It’s thick and a bit sticky. However, this helps this wear time greatly. Cheery Cherry lasts around 4 hours and leaves my lips feeling soft after it has worn off. It’s also a great base for lipsticks! I hate that it’s so pricey ($20) but it does work very well for my dry lips! Luckily the Mineralize Tinted Lip Balms are still available so be sure to check them out online at MAC or at your local MAC counter!
