Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm Review
I’m definitely becoming a Dior Addict! There’s not too much I can say about lip balms (they’re just balms!) but this one deserves an ear-full. I picked up the Lip Glow balm less than a month ago and I’m almost finished with it! I didn’t even realize how much I liked this stuff!
The packaging is typical chic Dior! The squared plastic casing is a little bulky but it’s pretty easy to spot/feel in a cluttered bag which I really like. It’s very modern and pretty! The texture of Lip Glow is thick but not sticky and very moisturizing. Lip Glow makes an excellent base for dry lippies! I have a huge problem with lipsticks feathering and this balm really helps smooth things out. Plus it has SPF 10! It’s even moisturizing enough to use after exfoliating! Lip Glow also changes color depending on your chemistry. For me, the change is very subtle. My lips just look slightly pinker but it’s still pretty cool. Although Lip Glow has a pretty amazing formula it’s very pricey at $31 and it doesn’t last long at all. This is the quickest I’ve ever gone through a balm. It’s almost insanity! I do recommend trying it out if you’re having a hard time finding a good balm but I’m going to try a Nivea balm before repurchasing. Hopefully the Nivea balm lives up to the hype because Lip Glow is a tough act to follow!
9/10
That’s one of my favorite lip balms! I totally agree, the packaging just feels great to touch, it just feels fancy 🙂 If you like thicker balms try (my favorite!) Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Balm, they’re available at Whole Foods or online, it’s a little pricey, not nearly as much as Dior but it’s $13. I also got the body shop born lippy lip balm in my swap and it has that thick moisturizing balm consistency too. Hope this helps and thanks for reminding me I’m running out of Lip Glow. P.S. Did you know they make a lip gloss version? I really want to try it.
I haven’t tried the gloss version but I have tried one of the Dior Addict glosses and they feel amazing! I think I’m going to try that balm next. I’ve been using the Jack Black lemon chamomile balm lately and it is just amazing!!
