Get Fall Ready with Chanel!
Fall is right around the corner guys! It’s time to start stocking up on warm sweaters, comfy scarves and makeup of course! Chanel put together an amazing fall display that ladies everywhere will love! I was so enticed that I decided to catch some swatches for you guys. As well as an opportunity to try out the ever so popular brand!
The display featured eyeshadows, palettes, mascaras and liners all geared towards to helping you get fall ready. Take a look!
I was absolutely blown away by how creamy and pigmented the Stylo Yeux liners! They glide on smoothly and have intense color payoff with just one swipe. I admit, I didn’t try smudging them so I can’t comment on how well they’d be for a smudged smoky eye look. I don’t know why but I’m not the biggest fan of smudging liner. But I did try removing the Stylo Yeux liners once they’ve set and waterproof is an understatement! These liners did not budge!! Even with makeup remover I had to literally scrub them off. This is a plus for constant watery allergy ridden eyes like mine. But could be a huge pain trying to remove at night. I’d definitely suggest using an oil based cleanser if you decided to pick up one of these liners. Despite their indestructibility I’m super interested in picking up a few of them. I must have the Noir Intense, Bleu Exquis, Grenat and Cassis shades!
Seduction (42) Eyeshadow Quad
Fascination (41) Eyeshadow Quad
I was also very impressed with the quality of the eyeshadow quads. I love how cohesive the colors are! You can definitely create a nice day or night look without pulling out extra shadows. Chanel eyeshadows are buttery soft and have an almost cream like consistency. Some shades weren’t as pigmented as I would like but they are pretty buildable. Both quads are perfect for fall and suit both warm and cool tone ladies.
Convotise and Apparition Illusion D’Ombre eyeshadows
The cream eyeshadows really blew me away! Both Convotise and Apparition were very pigmented, creamy and blended very well. They had a nice amount of shimmer but they didn’t come off metallic at all. Of course they would look fabulous alone but I think they should make a great eyeshadow base as well! I barely wear cream shadows but I’m thinking about snagging Apparition. It’s so beautiful! Will you be picking up anything from Chanel this fall?
