Matte lips have been all the rage lately but Estee Lauder is taking a different approach this fall! Prepare to coat your lips and tips with shimmer and shine with the new Metallics Pure Collection! I’m not usually a fan of shiny metallic lips but Estee Lauder is making me reconsider. The lippies are seriously pretty!

There are 6 new Pure Color Vivid Shine lipsticks ($26.00) and 12 Pure Color High Intensity lip lacquers ($25.00) tossed in the mix all featuring gold trimmed packaging. I like how simple yet chic everything looks! I’m still warming up to the shimmery lipsticks but the glosses have certainly caught my eye. The colors and pigmentation is just amazing! The High Intensity Lip Lacquers are more of a liquid lipstick than gloss actually. The texture isn’t too heavy or sticky but it does have a slightly tacky feel to it. I do think they’ll last pretty nicely because of that tackiness though.

While I have more than enough lippies I’m actually considering picking up some of the lip lacquers! They’re crazy pigmented and felt pretty good when I swatched them. I’d love to really test them out! Will you be rocking metallic lips this fall?
