Milani Sangria Color Statement Lipstick Review
I’ve only tried two of my Milani Color Statement lipsticks so far but I can’t sing their praises enough! Uptown Mauve and Sangria are so much better than some of my MAC lipsticks! The wear time is slightly shorter but I’ve found these lipsticks to be so much more comfortable and forgiving on my dry lips. Not to mention so much easier on my wallet!
Sangria is a mid-tone berry shade with a matte finish. It’s very creamy though and doesn’t drag or tug against my lips when I apply it. The color payoff is wonderful! I get opaque, even color in just one swipe. Sangria does have a light watermelon scent that lingers a bit during wear but it’s not very strong. It wears for around 6 hours without any lip liner or primer underneath. I didn’t find Sangria to be hydrating nor drying. I was actually rather impressed with the Milani Color Statement matte formula. It didn’t make my lips peel or crack and it didn’t settle into lines as it started wearing off.
You guys know I’m a huge MAC lipstick fan but I highly recommend checking out some of the Milani Color Statement lipsticks! For under $6 you really can’t beat the quality! The color selection is pretty large and still growing. There’s a variety of finishes to suit everyone’s needs. And they wear so beautifully! I get asked a lot what’s a cheaper alternative to MAC lippies and I think Milani definitely gives MAC a run for its money!

I do not know why I had been sleeping on Milani products but on top of game now. Maybe it’s because I thought the higher the brand, the better. WoW! I was so wrong!! I have several lipsticks/brillant shine glosses & LOVE them. I love how they smell & the color payoff. I will admit that I am ATM~Addicted To Milani…I LOVE makeup!!!!!!
Okay so it’s not just me! Lol I’ve always been a fan of Milani but after venturing into the high end world I abandoned it. I totally forgot how wonderful their products are! Especially the lipsticks and glosses! It’s becoming my go to brand since I’ve decided to take a little break from MAC
