Perfume is like the signature of a woman’s body. It can really pull together your look and set the mood so it’s no surprise I’ve been obsessing over fragrance lately! My latest muse is the heavenly sweet smelling Prada Candy eau de parfum. I get compliments literally every time I wear it. It has become my signature scent!

Prada Candy is described as a scent that’s playful, sophisticated and sensual. I couldn’t agree more! It has notes of caramel, musk, vanilla and benzoin that mix to create the most alluring melody. The caramel and vanilla notes give Candy that sweet playful charm while the musk and benzoin add a deeper more sensual sensation. Although Candy features musk and floral accents it’s a very lightweight scent that’s not at all overpowering. It’s incredibly soft and feminine. The name is extremely fitting because upon first spritz it smells so sweet and delicious! Once it hits my skin I immediately get a rush of vanilla and caramel. After it dries down is when I smell the sensual musk note.

I’ve only had this bottle for about 2 months and I’ve already put a serious dent in it lol. I use it pretty much everyday! I have built quite the perfume collection last year so I try to keep different scents in rotation but I always find myself reaching for Prada Candy. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last too long. Prada Candy is really soft so it starts to fade around 6-8 hours leaving a faint hint of vanilla behind. I recently learned a nifty oil trick to help make it last a little longer though and it’s been working well! The next time you spritz on your favorite fragrance place a few drops of oil (I use argan but any oil is fine) where you’re applying the perfume and it’ll help the fragrance hug the skin more. Voila!
