Tarte Elite LipSurgence Lip Tint Review

Since I’ve started blogging my makeup collection has grown ridiculously. I went from one little drawer in the bathroom to a full on lingerie chest overflowing with makeup! Like most makeup junkies I just haul stuff, love it for a few days and then toss it to the back of my stash where it often gets lost and forgotten. Lately, I’ve been going through my stash and falling in love all over again with my neglected makeup. Like this Tarte Elite LipSurgence Lip Tint!

I hauled this little baby almost two years ago and can’t believe I haven’t been wearing the heck out of it sooner! Elite is a soft warm coral that’s perfect for spring and summer. It has a refreshing mint scent and tingly sensation upon application that feels pretty good. Upon application, Elite has a nice sheen and glossy finish but after an hour or so it dries down to a soft satin finish. Even as the glossiness faded Elite felt pretty moisturizing. I didn’t find it to be drying at all and I experienced no feathering or bleeding. It wore comfortably for 3-4 hours before it began to fade into a stain which lasted for another 2-3 hours.

I’m so glad I pulled Elite out of my stash and gave it a little love. I’m not big on corals but I just can’t get enough of the color and how juicy and luscious it makes my lips look! I totally recommend it! You can find the Tarte Elite LipSurgence Lip Tint at Tarte or in stores (and online too) at Sephora for $24. If you’re a makeup artist or model I recommend heading over to Tarte and filling out the application for their pro program so you can save 40% off. Happy hauling!
