NYX Macaron Lipstick Haul & Swatches
Have you ever rolled out of bed one day and thought, “Hey I want a blue lipstick!”? I have! I know, it’s kind of weird to roll out of bed craving blue lipstick over breakfast. That’s just how I roll though! Well, sometimes. Breakfast is pretty awesome. But not as awesome as the new NYX Macaron Lipstick collection!
It’s not often that you’ll see funky colored lipsticks in stores but NYX is changing the dymanics! The NYX Macaron collection sports 12 new funky shades that’s available online at NYX and Ulta. My plan was to hold off until these popped up in stores at Ulta next month but I just couldn’t wait! It definitely didn’t help that NYX is currently BOGO half off Ulta. I loaded my cart up so quickly!
All of the shades are quite beautiful but I only hauled 4 of them. I ended up with Blue Velvet, Key Lime, Violet and Citron. I’m really excited to start trying them! I think they’ll look crazy fun on their own and make great mixing shades. Each shade felt really creamy when swatched and had pretty good pigmentation. I usually have good luck with NYX lipsticks so I’m really hoping for the best with the Macaron line! It’s not often that you’ll find such fun shades for just $6!
