L’Oreal Eternal Rose Infallible Lipstick Review
Whenever I go on a drugstore rampage I almost always forget to raid the L’Oreal section. Things are definitely about to change! After picking up a couple of the newly repackaged Infallible lipsticks I must say I’m pretty pleased. Eternal Rose has introduced me a to a whole new world!
As I’ve mentioned, I’ve never tried a L’Oreal Infallible lipstick so I’m not too familiar with the old school packaging. I do love the new design though! It’s very simple and chic. Eternal Rose features a shiny black plastic tube with a hot pink top. It doesn’t feel or look bulky and it doesn’t feel cheap to me. It’s quite nice!
Eternal Rose is a bright fuchsia with a soft satin finish and a light floral scent. It isn’t the most unique lipstick in the world but the color is still beautiful. So bright and vibrant! Not to mention, the formula is quite lovely too. Eternal Rose is incredibly pigmented and creamy upon application but it doesn’t feel slick or slippery. It applies pretty evenly and feels great on the lips. Eternal Rose didn’t feel drying or cling to any dry spots on my lips. I was surprised it didn’t accentuate any dryness because the formula is quite clingy. Not in a sit on top of the lips kind of way. But it felt sticky whenever I pressed my lips together. It’s not much of an issue for me though. Just a little weird for a lipstick, you know?
Eternal Rose managed to wear rather comfortably for around 5 hours before fading into a stain. I didn’t experience any bleeding or feathering but it did settle into lip lines a little. It wasn’t too noticeable though and it didn’t make my lips look all icky either. Overall, I really enjoyed rocking Eternal Rose. The color is beautiful and works well on a variety of skin tones plus the formula is pretty darn nice! The next time you’re browsing the beauty aisles of your local drugstore I recommend checking out Eternal Rose. It’s worth a try!
