Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Review

I’ll always love the high end stuff but drugstore makeup gets the job done too! Take the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser primer for instance. Will it make your pores vanish in thin air? Well no. But it will smooth out your skin and help your makeup apply smoothly. Check it out!

The Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser comes in a bright, light blue plastic squeeze tube and has a clear gel-like consistency. It glides across the skin very smoothly and doesn’t require a lot of product to cover everything. The Instant Pore Eraser won’t make your pores invisible but it does blur them (along with fine lines) quite well. It also made my t-zone look a little less shiny too. So that’s a plus! I know silicone formulas don’t work well for some gals but the Instant Pore Eraser didn’t irritate my skin or beak me out. I was actually quite pleased with how it felt on the skin. It didn’t feel greasy or heavy and it helped my makeup apply much more smoothly. The Instant Pore Eraser also helped my makeup stay put a little longer. Even in warm weather (and some sweat) my makeup didn’t really budge throughout the day. I accidentally fell asleep one night with a full face (bad Fancie!) and my makeup was still kicking the next morning!

The Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser won’t deliver dramatic results but it gets the job done! It makes pores and fine lines noticeably smoother while locking your look into place for the day. Plus, at just $7 it won’t break the bank either. If you’re in a pinch or looking for a good smoothing primer the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser is definitely worth a shot!

Honestly, I don’t really wear sunscreen so I’m not sure. It’s really important though so I’m going to try one and keep you posted!

    2. At least in Singapore it was marketted as a primer to go under the (Maybelline) BB Watergel – so I think it’s more suited to under 🙂
