Don’t you just love purple? It’s such a beautiful color! I had a few more Sephora gift cards to spare so I thought I’d take a trip to the store this time to redeem them. I actually went to two different stores looking for the new NARS Velvet Lip Liners but I don’t think they’re in stores yet so I grabbed a few purple lippies. Take a look!

Purple lip liners can be a little tricky to find but OCC makes things a little easier with Hoochie. It’s a bright violet that I’m sure I’m going to have a ton of fun with! It was creamy and pigmented when I swatched it so I think it’s going to work very well. Especially if it’s anything like Pool Boy!

I’ve never tried a Buxom lipstick before but I’ve been eyeing the Swinger Full Bodied Lipstick forever. Every time I saw it in Sephora I thought, “This would probably be a really good dupe for MAC Daddy’s Little Girl.” Well, I finally picked it up and it’s very close! It’s a tiny bit darker and more purple but I’m still more than happy with the color. I just hope I love the formula too!

I finally got my hands on one of the ever so popular Too Faced Melted Lipsticks! I picked up one in the shade Melted Violet which is a bright, cool pinky violet. The packaging is so cute in person and I adore the color! I couldn’t wait to wear it so I threw it on and so far I like it. It isn’t anything like the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints. The Melted formula is more of a liquid lipstick while the Glazed Lip Paints feel like glosses. I can’t wait to finish testing it out so I can give you a full comparison!
