Have you ever loved a lippie formula so much that you wanted every color? That’s exactly how I feel about the Ruby Kisses Lip Lacquers right now. They’re so amazing! I know everyone can’t get jiggy with a blue lip and that’s okay. Maybe you’ll change your mind someday. If you’re already on board with rocking a blue pout then you’ll definitely love the Ruby Kisses Aruba Blue Lip Lacquer!

Aruba Blue is a cool ocean blue with a glossy finish and sweet, vanilla-like scent. The color is beyond beautiful and very unique. It’s blue! NYX Blue Velvet Macaron Lipstick is the closest dupe I have in my stash and it’s still way off base. It’s less creamy, much lighter and more of a sky blue compared to Aruba Blue. While I enjoy the NYX Macaron formula I actually like the Ruby Kisses Lip Lacquer formula better. It’s a just much smoother experience and the color range is a bit more extensive too!

Aruba Blue applies very smoothly and evenly with intense pigmentation in a single swipe. It has a slightly thick, creamy texture that’s quite moisturizing and doesn’t feel sticky or tacky. It won’t survive an entire day but it still lasts pretty long. It wears for around 3-4 hours before fading into a light stain.

Unconventional lipstick shades (blue, yellow, etc.) tend to be really hard to pull off if you have dry lips but Aruba Blue is shockingly easy to wear! There’s very little bleeding or feathering and it didn’t settle into lip lines at all. The formula isn’t too clingy either so it didn’t emphasize dry spots much either. It’s a dream to wear!
