Ruby Kisses Lively Hot Pink Lip Lacquer Review
Bright pinks can be super tricky to pull off but the right formula makes all the difference! Take the Ruby Kisses Lively Hot Pink Lip Lacquer for instance. Usually bright pinks require a bit of elbow grease but not this beauty! If Lively Hot Pink was a book it would probably be titled, “Hot Pink Lips for Dummies”. It’s that easy to wear!
Lively Hot Pink is a bright, cool fuchsia pink with a sweet, vanilla-like scent and glossy finish. Although I had great success with Purple Berry I wasn’t expecting Lively Hot Pink to perform as well because these shades tend to give me a bit of trouble. However, the Ruby Kisses Lip Lacquer formula is so dry lip friendly that it made Lively Hot Pink a breeze to wear!
The formula is slightly thick but it’s also very creamy so it applies smoothly and evenly with intense pigmentation in one swipe. The texture reminds me of the MAC lipglass formula but it doesn’t feel sticky or tacky at all. It’s actually quite moisturizing and wears nicely too! It lasts for around 3-4 hours before fading into a light stain. Usually, I’d recommend exfoliating and prepping with a balm before application but you can actually skip all of that with Lively Hot Pink. It didn’t bleed or feather at all. And it didn’t settle into lip lines much either which is very impressive for this kind of shade. I always experience more settling than I’d like with bright pinks but Lively Hot Pink turned out to be pretty fuss free. So far, I’m head over heels for the Ruby Kisses Lip Lacquers! I totally recommend trying out Lively Hot Pink the next time you hit your local Beauty Supply!
