I Think I’ve Found My New Favorite Gloss..
Christmas has come and gone but I’m actually still reeling over the excitement a bit. Sure, I received some pretty nice gifts but I also got to spend some much needed quality time with my family and friends. Especially my friends! All of them recently moved out of state (so depressing!) so it was like a full on celebration when we finally got a chance to link up last night. And let’s just say things got a little crazy..
So crazy that I didn’t get to bed until 6 a.m. although I had a full schedule beginning at 8 a.m. Talk about exhausted! As you can imagine, this totally wasn’t the kinda day for makeup. I didn’t even fill in my brows until around 4 p.m. But you know what kept me going? The L.A. Girl Seduced Glazed Lip Paint. This lippie totally brightened my face and my day! Seduce kept me looking alive and somewhat pulled together even though I was feeling totally out of it. And for that, it just may be my new all time favorite gloss!
Seduce is a vibrant, mid-tone magenta with a slight purple undertone, lots of sheen and a minty scent. It’s an incredibly flattering color that’ll work well on a variety of complexions. It’s sort of like MAC Heroine lipstick in lip gloss form but maybe a little pinker. I really like it!
The formula really lent a helping hand today too! Seduce applies smoothly and evenly with full coverage in a single swipe and a thin, lightweight texture. It has a subtle cool, tingling effect upon application that feels really good on the lips and perks you up a bit too. The formula is also pretty moisturizing so I’ve been able to go all day without applying any balm.
Seduce wears super comfortably for around 2-4 hours before the cushion-y gloss feeling begins to fade into an intense stain that lasts for hours on end. Throughout the course of my 12 hour day I’ve only applied Seduce twice. Yes, just twice! My lips have been super soft and full of color all day from a $4 lippie. How amazing is that? If you haven’t jumped on the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint bandwagon yet I highly recommend taking the plunge. These things are gloss gold!
