Currently Obsessing Over..
Mascaras! I’m almost in falsies but I love adding mascara to my bottom lashes so I’ve been stocking up on them lately. Especially since there’s been some new drugstore releases that won’t break the bank! Here’s a rundown of the mascaras I’ve picked up recently:
L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga features a cone-shaped 360 degree flexor brush that builds volume in a flash. Top lashes are amplified and bottom lashes are maximized for the ultra wide-eyed manga look.
Maybelline Lash Sensational is all about the layers. Our lashes grow in more than just one layer so Maybelline crafted Lash Sensational to unfold layer upon layer of lashes for a new full fan effect.
Too Faced Better Than Sex has a collagen fueled formula and specially shaped brush that leaves lashes full, defined and stretched to unbelievable lengths with one coat.
CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom features a new petal shaped brush and mousse formula with natural beeswax to deliver lash fullness that’s soft to the touch. Lashes are never stiff and brittle so it’s suitable for contact lenses too.
I’ve yet to crack any of these babies open but only because I don’t know which one to try first! Mascara doesn’t last too long (around 3 months) so I’d rather not have a million tubes open at once. So I need your help! Have you tried any of tried any of these mascaras before? Which one should I try first?
I haven’t tried any of these yet, but I’m really curious about the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about all of these but I’m also really curious to try the Covergirl one too. I really like the pink packaging lol
I’d love to see some comparison shots of better than sex vs. some drugstore ones! My lil sis swears better than sex is amazing, but I’m pretty sure it’s just the Latisse she’s on.
Everyone seems to use Latisse lol. It seems like it works too! I’ll be sure to do a comparison shot for you though 😉
Miss Manga is FANTASTIC. I have Better Than Sex too – but I find MM gives me better curl hold – and since my lashes are dead straight this is a bonus. Plus – ZERO flaking. It is a dryer formula and can get a little spider-y if you’re not careful. But sometimes that’s the look I’m going for ….
I have really short barely there lashes so sometimes I like spidery lol. It gives my lashes a little oomph and they could certainly use it! I think I’m going to try the Miss Manga next
