L.A. Girl Tease Glazed Lip Paint Review
There’s a lot of things I’ll probably never see in life. But one thing I just knew I’d never come across is a pink gloss that I didn’t like. I just LOVE me some pink and I feel like glosses are pretty hard to mess up. But the L.A. Girl Tease Glazed Lip Paint is just a mess. Sadly, I don’t like it all! * runs and hides *
Tease is like a pink lip dream gone all wrong. It’s a cool, bright hot pink with small chunks of silver glitter that looks beautiful until you try it on. Tease is easily the most difficult Glazed Lip Paint I’ve tried yet. It applies unevenly and patchy. The color settles into lip lines, catches every flake and bunches up into little bits in the corner. Oh, and it bleeds too.
The Glazed Lip Paint formula is rather thin, liquid-y and runny as a whole so I usually experience a little bleeding and feathering here and there but it was just awful with Tease. Clumps of color would end up on my teeth and bunched up in between my lips. Just a mess!
What I love most about the Glazed Lip Paints is that they’re pretty fuss free but Tease is incredibly high maintenance. You absolutely need a lip liner or primer to make it work and it’s not nearly as smooth or moisturizing. It definitely isn’t drying but it doesn’t feel as good on the lips as Seduce (my fave). Thanks to the glitter chunks, Tease has a slightly drier consistency that starts to feel a bit grainy and gritty as it wears away after 2-3 hours. Besides the color, I honestly don’t have many nice things to say about Tease, sadly. I still love my Glazed Lip Paints but I don’t recommend this shade at all!
Girllll I thought I was the only one! I’m a sucker for a pink lip, Candy Yum Yum is my fav! No matter how many pinks I have in my collection, I always gravitate to and buy more of these kinds of colors. When I first found these lip glazes I grabbed maybe 3 others, and just needed this one as well. It was gorg when I swatched it on my hand, but an #EpicFail when I put it on my lips! All bad.
Glad it wasn’t just me! I can usually suck it up and make things work for a pink lip. But this one here? I just couldn’t deal! So disappointing considering how great the other shades are
Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear this is such a mess! Don’t run and hide: you can’t like everything! Seeing a total dud always makes me wonder if the company tested the products out before they put them on the market (probably not)!
That’s the FIRST thing I think when I hear about a bad product! Especially if it consistently gets bad reviews. Makes me wonder how they made it through testing.
