Iman Wild Thing Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick Review
The only thing better than a sexy vampy lipstick is a sexy vampy lipstick that doesn’t dry your lips out. ‘Cause there’s nothing sexy about dry, flaky lips. At all! That’s why everyone needs the Iman Wild Thing Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick.
Wild Thing is a deep blackened berry-wine with a slight red undertone and soft sheen. It’s not the most unique color but the quality seriously can’t be beat! Some vampy lipsticks have a tendency to apply unevenly or wreak havoc on the lips but Wild Thing is a treat from start to finish.
Wild Thing applies smoothly and evenly with an ultra creamy lightweight texture and intense pigmentation. The formula glides effortlessly across the lips and is quite hydrating just as the name states.
And it wears well too! Wild Thing didn’t emphasize any flakes or settle into lip lines. I did experience a little bleeding and feathering because the formula is so creamy but it’s nothing a good lip liner or primer can’t fix. Wild Thing wears rather comfortably for around 4-6 hours before fading into an intense stain that’ll last all day and night. I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about Wild Thing. It is a little pricey for a drugstore lipstick ($10) but it’s worth every penny. The Iman Luxury Moisturizing Lipsticks are some of the best lipsticks on the market! I highly recommend grabbing one or two.

I’ve always wanted to try Iman’s lipsticks, and this will be my very first color! A blackened berry wine lipstick that applies like a dream and doesn’t dry out your lips ?? Sign me up! Even HE brand have problems getting this color to apply smoothly (look at Nars, Tom Ford, Bite January, etc). So if Iman can do it for $11 or less, more power to her!

Fancie, I went to Walgreens and grabbed Wild Thing and Black Brandy. You’re right! They are so creamy, pigmented, and smooth–love! I think they are possible dupes for HE lipsticks, like Nars Ingrid, MAC Sin, TF , Bite January, etc. Both colors are really similar to each other (vampy dark purple red burgundy), but Wild Thing leans a little more purple and Black Brandy a little more red, so I don’t think you need to get both, but they are great colors. I’ll be checking out more of Iman’s lipsticks!
I’m so glad you like them! I don’t have any of the lipsticks you mentioned but I did have my eye on Ingrid which I’m confident I can skip now. I hope Iman adds more colors to the range soon. I’d get them all lol
