Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation Review

Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation

This review has been a long time coming! I’ve had the Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder for some years now but somehow I always forget that I haven’t reviewed it yet. Which is crazy for 3 reasons:

  1. The formula is amazing.
  2. I use it almost every single day.
  3. It’s incredibly versatile.

Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation

I almost feel a little selfish for not sharing my review sooner because this is a powder anyone could love. Dry skin. Oily skin. Doesn’t matter. The Pro Finish Powder has you covered! You can use it as a setting powder or foundation and it’ll leave your skin looking flawless. I’m talking airbrushed, silky skin that never looks powdery or cakey!

Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation

I was a little hesitant to try powder foundation when I first started wearing makeup but, ironically, the Pro Finish Powder has become one of my holy grail foundations. Granted, it’s the only powder foundation I’ve ever tried but it certainly set the bar high! Pro Finish is formulated with exclusive vegetal coated bio-metric pigments that allows for buildable coverage with a natural matte finish. It’s free of mineral oil, parabens and fragrance so it’s great for all skin types. Including dry! My biggest fear with powder foundation is that it would emphasize my dry skin and make me look casket ready but Pro Finish makes me look amazing. Every single time.

The Pro Finish Powder has a silky, smooth finely milled texture that’s slightly powdery in the pan but adheres to the skin well. The formula is pigmented but it sheers out very easily making application a breeze. A lot of people like to use Pro Finish as a setting powder but I love using it as a foundation. It works great either way as it minimizes shine, evens out the complexion and offers a nice amount of coverage while lasting all day. Pro Finish wears for well over 10 hours on me alone and it extends the life of my foundation for quite a few hours too.

There’s a million things to love about the Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Powder but what I love the most is how convenient it is. I use shade 178, a deep neutral brown, and it’s the perfect match so I hardly have to blend at all. I just dip my brush or sponge into the compact, buff and done. Easy peasy! I don’t too much suffer from blemishes or dark spots, just discoloration, so I like to keep my makeup light on a regular basis. I love that I can just brush this on and go without having to worry about concealer or any of that other stuff. It just looks so good on its own! No matter your skin type or what kind of powder you’re looking for the Make Up For Ever Pro Finish powder is all you’ll need. There’s a reason I’ve hit pan on this stuff!

You can order online from Make Up For Ever or grab it at your local Sephora.

This will probably be the first and only face product I ever finish lol

  3. Oohh thanks for the review. I’m always looking for HG powders. You are so lucky you don’t need concealer or under eye highlight at all! Beautiful skin in the before pic even (jelly lol)

Thank you! Lol don’t be jealous though. Even though I don’t necessarily need it I feel like I look a little better with concealer

  4. Fancie have you ever heard of an HD version of MUF primer? I got a sample from Sephora and I cannot find it — it was AMAZING!!!! Now, I cannot find it anywhere!!! Maybe it’s a new item coming out? Idk.
