Milani Matte Blissful Color Statement Matte Lipstick Review
I know I’ve been flooding you guys a bit with all this Milani matte madness but it’s almost over! I don’t know whether to rejoice or be sad. I’m happy I’m almost done reviewing all 8 new shades but I’m already starting to look forward to some new shades. It’s a vicious cycle, man!
Lately, I’ve been running into some trouble shades (looking at you Innocence and Diva!) but Matte Blissful has been a nice turn of events. It’s not quite perfect but I still like it! Matte Blissful is a cool, muted baby pink that’s actually quite cute against my brown skin. I do prefer to wear a lip liner to add some definition (or a killer ombre) but it doesn’t look all crazy without one.
Like the rest of the Milani matte gang, Matte Blissful applies smoothly with a lightweight creamy texture and full coverage in a single swipe. It’s a pale pink and a matte, so as you can imagine, it looks its best when you’ve exfoliated and moisturized your lips before hand. It lightly settles into lip lines and emphasizes flakes a bit but it isn’t nearly as bad as Matte Innocence.
Matte Blissful is actually quite wearable and makes for a great everyday pink when paired with a brown lip liner. Just make sure you apply a little balm or primer first because it can look dry and patchy as it fades 3-4 hours later. Other than that you’re good to go!
I want to try all of these new matte Milani lipsticks! I just really like their lipsticks in general (Flamingo Pose is my favorite). This one actually looks similar to my natural lip color in the tube so I might start here.

They’re pretty nice! I think you’d really like Matte Blissful. You should try it soon!
I liked all the ones I tried except for this one, a little too pale I thought. Enjoying your reviews.
