Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Review

Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner

There’s a million reasons to be thankful these days but at the moment I’m the most thankful for Milani. When I got laid off last year, I had to seriously re-evaluate my budget and makeup spending. Let me tell you. That was a complete nightmare! Beauty blogger or not. I needs new makeup! It’s just my thing!

But when you’re living off your savings you have to cut out unnecessary things like $30+ lipsticks and liners. That’s why I’ve been so obsessed with Milani lately. I can still look and feel glam without blowing through my savings.

When I ran out of my holy grail Marc Jacobs eyeliner I went into a slight panic mode. Call me dramatic but good eyeliners are hard to find when you’ve got watery eyes. And light pockets. Bad, bad combo! However, Milani has once again made my life a little easier with the new Supreme Kohl Kajal eyeliner. Thank you, Milani!!

The Supreme Kohl Kajal is an intense black that isn’t quite as buttery as the Marc Jacobs Blacquer Highliner but it’s still incredibly creamy and glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. It’s rather pigmented and applies evenly in a single swipe so you don’t have to layer much to define those eyes. Plus, it wears pretty well too! The Supreme Kohl Kajal lasts for well over 8 hours on my drier lids without smudging, flaking or fading. However, it didn’t hold up on my waterline too well. After 4-6 hours, I noticed that it had completely disappeared without a trace. While I’m pleased that it didn’t leave me with raccoon eyes I can’t really recommend it for waterline use. If you’re cool with sticking to the lids I still think the Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal eyeliner is worth the buy though. It’s already become a staple in my makeup bag!

  1. Hey Fancie, when given the choice, I’ll always go for disappearing rather than smudging all over the place LOL But I see what you mean: it’d be so much better if it just stays put instead!

Lol me too! I’d love for it to work on my waterline but I’m still grateful it didn’t have me out looking crazy lol

Sorry to hear about the lay off, hope you find a job soon! I have oily lids and a wet waterline (yes, a nightmare). I must’ve tried 10-15 of the top eyeliners on the market, and Milana Kajal Supreme is one of the very few liners that will stay on my waterline for 3-4 hours, which is a record for me. So I think it will work well on drier waterlines.

Thank you so much! I’ve found a couple so far. Just hoping for something a little better! I totally understand your struggle. My lids are on the drier side but my constant watery eyes are a nightmare when it comes to eyeliner. So far, the Rimmel nude Kohl is the only one that’ll really last me all day. I’ll have to try the black one soon. I’m glad this one seems to work for you though!

I haven’t tried the Rimmel one yet, but it’s worth a shot. Thanks for the idea!
