I’ve shown you some the amazing lipsticks, glosses and bronzers I’ve come across but there’s also some high quality skincare goodies in the mix too. I took a chance on the CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM after seeing rave reviews on the line from Huda Beauty and Musings of a Muse and, boy oh boy, it’s good!

In case you’ve never heard of CeraVe, it’s a drugstore skincare brand created by leading dermatologists that delivers department store quality at an affordable price. The Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM contains SPF 30 and is loaded with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to maintain a healthy skin barrier. It has a slightly thick creamy texture that absorbs quickly and provides a great deal of moisture. It’s rich enough to use in cold weather yet still lightweight enough to protect your skin from the sun in the summer. There’s also no scent or fragrance added so it’s ideal for even the most sensitive of skin.

I’ve been using the Facial Moisturizing Lotion for months now and color me impressed! It’s not quite as hydrating or yummy smelling as my beloved Ole Henriksen Nurture Me Cream but it comes quite close to replacing an old favorite. And that’s saying a lot for a moisturizer that costs less than 15 bucks!
