MAC Toledo Inspired Look
The MAC Isabel and Ruben Toledo collection has long come and gone but I’m still very much enjoying my small haul. For starters, the packaging is so cool! A pain in the butt to clean but still pretty pleasing to look at. And the makeup inside? Crazy about it! Sometimes I have a habit of pushing my limited edition hauls to side after I’ve posted about them but I can’t keep my hands off this collection. So why not share a look with my favorite peeps?
- First, I primed my skin using the NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer Serum.
- Next, filled in my brows using the NYX Espresso Eyebrow Gel and created a thick, dramatic winged liner using the Yves Saint Laurent Effet Faux Clis Cream Eyeliner.
- Then, I applied MAC Chlorafill Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner to the bottom lid and smudged NARS Bourbon Street Larger Than Life Eyeliner halfway through the lid–blending it into Chlorafill.
- I completed my eye look by applying Kiss EZ Lashes #11 and two coats of Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara and Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara to my bottom lashes.
- Now on to the face! I applied a light layer of Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless #355 foundation all over and then used the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer #30 to highlight and Black Radiance Dark Concealer Stick to contour.
- Next, I added a hint of golden glow by lightly applying a bit of MAC Coupe D’Chic Iridescent Powder unto my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. Then, topped it off with a bit of MAC Ripe Peach Blush for a soft wash of color.
- Finally, I lined my lips with the NYX Expresso Lip Pencil and applied MAC Oxblood lipstick to complete the look.
Done!

Fancie, I love your eye look! So pretty, with the brows, lashes and that green liner looks stunning on you! I like the blush too, subtle. Nice haul from the MAC Toledo collection. I only got the Opera lip gloss, but I’m really enjoying the color. Hey, are your teeth feeling better?
Thank you, Karen! I bet you look beautiful in Opera! I’m not much of a red gloss kinda gal but the pictures I’ve seen have all been stunning. And a little tempting too lol. Yes they have! Thanks for asking. I’m not sure what magically happened but my wisdom teeth have been so much better this week. There’s still a little pain but I’m actually able to get through the day without too much hassle. I’m so happy because I’m not at all a fan of heavy pain medication or the side effects lol

That eyeliner is FIERCE! I still don’t know why they named this shade Oxblood because it looks nothing like Oxblood, but I love it on you 🙂
Thank you, Sunny! Honestly, I have no idea why MAC did that either. I love the lipstick but would have been nice to have an actual oxblood lipstick with the name instead. They’re so weird for that lol
