Simple Cleansing Micellar Water Review
I can’t stress enough how important it is to completely remove your makeup and wash your face at night. I just can’t always practice what I peach. I know, I know. I’m terrible. But sometimes I’m just too tired and my bed seems way more appealing than spending 10 minutes over the sink. So, as you can imagine, I didn’t hesitate a lick to try the Simple Cleansing Micellar Water after reading some pretty good reviews.
I know you’re probably thinking, “What the heck is a micellar water?” It’s simple–no pun intended. Micellar water is a water based cleansing solution that allows you to skip the sink and cleanse your face with just a few squirts and a cotton pad.
The Simple Micellar Water is probably the cheapest on the market and I really like it so far. It won’t completely eliminate the need for soap and water but it definitely gets the job done in a pinch while adding a little boost of hydration. The Simple Micellar Water gently removes most makeup–like foundation, concealer, powder and such. But it struggles with heavy eye makeup and waterproof stuff so you’ll still want to keep the makeup wipes handy if you’re sporting a full face. However, if you’re more of a light makeup kinda gal or like to hit the gym then the Simple Micellar Water will work very well for you! It’s great for refreshing the skin so you can even use it in the morning after a nighttime wash. I can definitely see it being a hit in the summer too!
Overall, I think the Simple Cleansing Micellar Water works well and is a great buy. It doesn’t completely cleanse the face but it removes a great deal of gunk without stripping my face of moisture or irritating my sensitive skin. If you happen to spot it at your local drugstore or superstore I recommend giving it a try!

Fortunately, I can’t go to bed without washing my face thoroughly. No matter how tired, I just can’t stand having all that gunk on my face, and knowing I’m going to wake up with pimples and huge pores. In emergencies, I’ll even dilute some hand soap to wash it. So I don’t need this, thank goodness, but having this option around is definitely better than no washing at all.
I wish I had your will power! I can be so lazy sometimes lol
Naw, not lazy, just too tired from doing too many other things!
So very true!
