NYX Wine & Dine High Voltage Lipstick Review
After a long Monday, it would be so nice to enjoy some wining and dining, right? It’s the perfect ending to the most mundane day of the week. Currently, I’m boyfriend-less so the only wining and dining I’m looking forward to is the NYX Wine & Dine High Voltage Lipstick.
I know. That sounds slightly pathetic. But the adorable name and beautiful color really makes up for it! Wine & Dine is a plum toned berry with a slight hint of red, sweet candy scent and shiny satin finish. If I had a beau, I’d quickly slip on Wine & Dine for a fun Monday night out. It’s vibrant enough where it feels feminine yet still has this deepness to it that’s edgy.
Like the rest of the High Voltage Lipstick gang, Wine & Dine performs like a champ with it’s smooth, creamy lightweight emollient texture. The formula glides across the lips with intense pigmentation and a light touch of moisture that leaves your lips feeling soft even after Wine & Dine fades away. The color doesn’t emphasize flakes or settle into lip lines so it looks great even on the driest of lips. There’s some minor bleeding and feathering but it’s nothing a little primer or lip liner can’t fix!
Wine & Dine wears quite comfortably for around 3-4 hours before fading into a juicy berry stain that’ll last for hours on end. I haven’t been rocking it on any dates but I’ve been wearing it to work lately and it holds up very well. The next time you head to Ulta I totally recommend snagging the NYX Wine & Dine High Voltage Lipstick!
