On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!
Happy hump day girlies! I think I may have rejoiced too soon about the sunny warm weather we’ve been getting here in Michigan because it’s right back to freezing and gloomy this week. Le sigh. Nothing lasts forever right? If today was another one of those warm 70 degree days with lots of sunshine and good vibes I’d be twirling around in shades of bright hot pink right about now. But since it’s dark, rainy and a chilly 40 degrees outside I think I’m gonna chill out with a muted pink blush this Pink Wednesday.
Like the Milani Romantic Rose Blush. Romantic Rose is a warm, dusty-rose pink that’ll flatter just about anyone from fair to deep complexions. It’s moderately pigmented, blends well and lasts pretty much all day for me. I was a little hesitant to try the Milani Rose Blushes after so many mixed reviews but Romantic Rose turned out to be one of my favorite everyday blushes. I love that it’s virtually impossible to overdo on my complexion and that it goes so well with everything. Whether you’re rocking a bright pink lip or something a little more work friendly Milani Romantic Rose Blush is bound to complement it well on any Pink Wednesday!
I missed these when they were limited edition, so I was excited that they were made permanent! Then I read the ingredients and ~whomp whomp~ they contain lanolin. Which I’m extremely allergic to. I recently pulled out the pink blush from the MAC Wonder Woman collection and have been wearing it daily as a pop of pink on my cheeks on top of Benefit’s Majorette blended along my cheekbones up towards my temple. Perfect for the beautiful weather we’ve been having here in the Bay Area – 70’s and sunny with the nod to spring being quite a bit of windy-ness! Have a beautiful week Fancie!
Aww I’m sorry to hear that!! I am slightly jealous you have some things from the MAC Wonder Woman collection. I’m so mad I wasn’t into makeup yet then!!
