Physicians Formula Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer Review
You know what goes great with warm weather and sunshine? A dewy complexion and a bronzed sun-kissed glow. That’s what summertime is all about! You may not want to glow in the dark like an Atlanta housewife, but if you’re looking to add a beautiful everyday glow to your spring and summer days then you definitely need to check out the Physicians Formula Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer.
This bronzer is niiiiice! I’m starting to become a huge fan of Physicians Formula bronzers because they’re not only gorgeous in the pan but stunning when applied too. The Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer was released earlier this year in two shades–I picked up the deepest of the two, Bronze. It’s a warm, shimmering golden bronze with golden shimmer and a lingering warm, spicy scent. If you have a sensitive nose, this may bother you but the Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer didn’t bother me or seem to irritate my sensitive skin. I actually kinda like it! It’s very soft and sultry.
I know the Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer looks like a glitter bomb in the pan but once you get rid of the glittery overspray you’re left with a softer, more subtle sheen that’s buildable from sheer, lit from within coverage to full on golden goddess. As you can imagine, this bronzer looks amazing on deep skin tones but it’s more of a highlight than a bronzer for me. I can see it working well as a bronzer for light to medium skin tones though as it’s not too orange or too intensely pigmented.
The Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer performs very well too! It has a very soft, silky finely milled texture that doesn’t feel powdery or kick up too much product when you swirl your brush around the pan. It’s also very blendable and lasts for over 8 hours on my dry cheeks before showing any signs of fading. I’ve always been a hardcore fan of high end highlighting powders but I think Physicians Formula bronzers gives even the most expensive bronzers a run for their money! The Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer is a bit on the pricey side for the drugstore aisles ($15) but you’re bound to catch it on sale at CVS, Ulta or Target.
