Digging Through My Stash…

Chanel Les Beiges No 70

Isn’t it fun digging up old faves from your stash? I’ve been doing that a lot lately. It’s like shopping but better–you don’t have to spend anything! Not too long ago, I spotted my good ol Chanel Les Beiges powder chilling in my face drawer and decided to pull it out and put it to use. I could use a small luxury here and there. Couldn’t you?

Chanel Les Beiges No 70

Chanel touts the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 as an:

Innovative, versatile powder makeup that enhances, brightens or bronzes the complexion for a custom glow. On is own, it heightens skin’s natural beauty; over foundation, provides a sheer luminous finish.

Basically, Les Beiges does it all. It’s a sheer powder foundation, finishing powder, bronzer and highlight all rolled in one. It just depends on which of the 7 shades you choose. I’m rather chocolatey so I opted for the darkest shade in the bunch, No. 70. It’s a warm golden bronze with a slight red undertone that I like to use as a finishing/setting powder. Les Beiges lightly soaks up the excessive dewiness of my more creamy bases (like NARS tinted moisturizer and Revlon Nearly Naked) but still leaves a soft, luminous finish while offering a subtle blurring effect. Sure, Chanel Les Beiges seems pricey at $58 but it’s the little luxuries in life that I seem to enjoy the most and this is one of them!

Wow, I can see that color looking great on you! It’s a luxury buy, but at least it’s a useful, multi-tasking product. And so awesome it has SPF15. I wish more makeup had SPF
