Hair Care Hauling

Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter, Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Elixir, Jamaican Mango & Lime Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Coconut, Africare 100% Glycerin, As I Am Leave In Conditioner

It’s been a looong time since I did a hair care haul. About a year, actually. Long overdue! So when I needed to pick up some more Jamaican Black Castor Oil I decided to grab a few products I’ve had my eye on too. Here’s what I picked up:

Motions Enhance & Define Pre Wash Detangling Butter When I saw Danielle from the Style & Beauty Doctor raving about this stuff for her natural hair I put it right on my shopping list. Before every wash, I usually load my hair up with a mixture of different oils to make detangling a little easier. This stuff is formulated with Shea butter, coconut oil and more to help take the edge off of wash day.

Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Reconstructive Finishing Elixir This was actually another repurchase for me. My mom has been using this spray for a while now and I tried it out of curiosity one day (it smells so good!) and ended up loving it. It’s formulated with Shea butter, sea kelp and argan oil to condition dry, damaged hair and control fizz while adding shine.

Jamaican Mango & Lime Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Coconut Told you I couldn’t be without this stuff! The second I realized I was on my last drops of Jamaican Black Castor Oil I planned a shopping trip to get some more. Instead of getting the original version again I opted for the Coconut version. It smells delicious!

Africare 100% Glycerin After reading about all the benefits of pure glycerin for the hair and skin I jumped on it when I saw it at Walgreen’s. It conditions and protects the skin while adding moisture and repairing dry, damaged hair. Another plus? It’s vegan so it’s completely cruelty free!

As I Am Leave In Conditioner This conditioner was no a brainer as I love to moisturize with leave ins and As I Am has a cult like following that’s hard to ignore. And some really great ingredients too! The Leave In Conditioner is formulated with extracts of coconut, alma, sugar beet root and more to moisturize, strengthen, aid in detangling and even more. Sounds right up my alley!

Have you purchased any new hair care products lately? What are your faves?

Fancie, my hair is straight, flat and oilier at roots, but dry and coarse at ends, so I put products only at the ends, but it can’t be too heavy or it weighs my hair down. Do you think any of these products might work?
