On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

Happy hump day, superstar! Today I’ve got a weekly dose of pink for you that I think you’ll be quite thirsty for. It’s the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer and it’s a new addition to my stash. I haven’t been using it for too long since I just recently received the new Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer but I have a feeling I’m going to like it.

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

It’s formulated with lots of goodies for your skin like coconut water, electrolytes and probiotics so I was curious to check it out since I’m all about healthy skin these days. Too Faced claims this baby as:

A replenishing face primer that hydrates, smoothes, and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish. Cure your next beauty hangover with Hangover, a revolutionary makeup primer that’s infused with coconut water, a probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers which work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while looking down makeup for a fresher, longer and more flawless wear. Too Faced harnessed the science of hydration to create a creamy, penetrating primer that acts like an energy drink for the skin by replenishing moisture levels. It can be worn alone for a dewy, healthy looking finish, or under bronzers, foundations and powders to create the perfect canvas.

An energy drink for my skin that hydrates, smoothes and brightens?? Gimme! Since I’ve kicked off my full time schedule, I’ve adopted a mean coffee habit that’s been making my skin a little dry since I haven’t been drinking as much water. The few times I used Hangover, my skin felt hydrated, looked nice and plump and my makeup applied smoothly and held up well too. It’s still too soon to have any real opinion on the formula so far but I’m looking forward to incorporating this beauty into my routine to see just how well it holds up.

Have you tried the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer before?

I know people love this primer, but I got a sample and didn’t like it. It felt heavy and silicone-y on me even though it doesn’t contain silicone. Strange. Hope it works for you though
