When I walked into Ulta and spotted the fresh new display of NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks i could just about hear the hallelujah chorus in my head. Finally, these babies are available in stores! NYX has been teasing us with sneak peeks and swatches of the new Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks for months now so it’s no surprise that they can’t keep them in stock online. No problem though! Now you can bop right into your local Ulta and walk out with the shades you want. No waiting. No mail carriers hurt in the process. Easy peasy!

I know you’re probably thinking, “So what exactly are these new Liquid Suede Lip Creams?” Here’s the scoop from NYX:

Doll up your lips in plush and vibrant color! Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick glides on and sets into a striking matte finish. Velvety soft and waterproof, this long-lasting lippie creates a positively polished look with every swipe.

 

Basically, it’s NYX’s version of the raging popular liquid-to-matte lipsticks. Not to be confused with their old time cult classic Soft Matte Lip Creams which offer a more creamy, semi-matte finish. I picked up 5 of them including:

• Soft-Spoken mauve nude
• Sway lavender
• Sandstorm true nude
• Amethyst deep neon purple
• Vintage plum with mauve undertone

These babies are designed to be an alternative to the higher end liquid lipsticks like Kat Von D and Anastasia Beverly Hills–at just $7. I haven’t tried them yet but NYX usually doesn’t disappoint when it comes to lippies so I’ve got high hopes!
