Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick Haul & Swatches
I know you’re probably still drooling over those insanely pigmented Anastasia Beverly Hills Glosses but I’m gonna pull you back to matte for a second. ‘Cause matte is like the new black. Matte lips go with any look, any mood, anytime. That’s why I never hesitate to stock my stash with more mattes than I can handle. A girl can never have too many mattes, right?
Urban Decay must be thinking matte is the new black too because they recently released a line of Matte Revolution Lipsticks housed in sleek shiny black metal tubes. So chic! And right on time too. The original (and uber creamy) Revolution Lipsticks were a huge hit so it’s nice to see Urban Decay welcome some mattes on board.
There’s currently 11 Matte Revolution shades available with 2 of them being an online exclusive and the rest being available at Ulta, Sephora and Macy’s for $22. So far, I have 3 in my collection:
- Bittersweet matte bright purple
- 1993 matte medium brown
- After Dark matte medium dark berry pink
They’re nice and creamy like the original Revolution formula but in a comfortable matte finish so I’m really digging them so far. I’m still in the process of testing them but I’m already plotting on adding Blackmail and Menace to my collection next.
Have you tried the Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipsticks yet?
